I was searching for a unique headboard and found a discontinued, out of stock door on display that I really liked. Since I wasn't going to hang it in a frame, Hyde Park Lumber was willing to sell the display to me. The staff even pointed out that the door will have two holes in it from the display mount. This exemplifies the "Out of Big Box thinking" you won't find at national suppliers. Awesome experience today.

Great customer service and great cabinets. We remodeled our kitchen this year and hired HPL to make a custom cabinetry order for us. The cabinets turned out beautiful. The best part about this company is that there were a couple of mistakes with the cabinets. They fixed them! Right away! Rena was a delight to work with and she made sure that everything worked out in the end and our cabinets were beautiful. Well done!

Fantastic customer service. Walked in and helped immediately. Told them about some ice in the parking lot and they were immediately out there throwing down salt. The guy inside the lumber yard was friendly and very helpful. More expensive than the box stores, but that is more than made up with their customer service.

Best lumber in the city! I love their selection of deck material and it's always in stock. They load the car or truck while you're there. Lumber prices are as good or better than Home Depot. Try it...you'll never go back to Home Depot.

I visited this business last week. The design center is very nice. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I'm yet to place an order, but I'll be doing so in the near future. I'll post an update at that time.
